Experience
My career started in Research in the field of Training and Development, with the HSRC. I then went on to spend a few years working as a Human Resources Generalist for Local Government and in the late 1980's joined the Anglo American Group at their in-house training facility- Maccauvlei. After a few years of working in training and presenting various supervisory, management and life-skills courses, I became involved in the Assessment Unit and gained exposure to the Career Path Appreciation (CPA) and various other behavioural, psychometric and competency based assessments. In the late 1990's the Assessment Unit disbanded and the work was outsourced to BIOSS SA. I then started my own consulting business and began working for BIOSS SA as an Associate Practitioner. Since then I have been working as an Independent Consultant and specialising in the CPA, MCPA, IRIS and associated development and talent management processes.
